Everybody has a role to play
One in five Queenslanders have a disability, but they can face barriers to participating in our community.
All Abilities Queensland: opportunities for all, is a plan for an inclusive Queensland. A state where people with disability are respected for their abilities and have equal access to opportunities and to contribute and participate in all that Queensland has to offer.
Queenslanders with disability reflect the diverse community we live in. They are individuals of all ages, with different backgrounds values, beliefs, experiences, interests, skills and abilities, who live in all parts of our state.
All Abilities Queensland works to achieve outcomes for all Queenslanders with disability. It guides how Queenslanders can work in partnership with all levels of government, the corporate sector, non-government and community organisations, communities and individuals, to build a more accessible and inclusive Queensland.
